I recently had the honor and pleasure of attending Robin Long's PureBaby Workshop. If you haven't heard of Robin Long, then you seriously need to google her. Her work is AMAZING! Since this was my first workshop, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I have been to several "tours" in the Columbus area (where well-known photographers go city to city and "teach") but these turned out to mainly be a 4-hour sales pitch to purchase their items. As soon as I walked into the bright white studio in Clearwater, Florida...I knew I was in for an incredible journey. Robin has a way of making you feel as if you've known her for years and years! She is warm, sweet, caring and best of all (and perhaps most importantly) WILLING and open to share all her gifts with each and every student. I never once felt "silly" asking her a question and she was like an open book, always willing to show what her shots looked like and how she achieved it. I can not even begin to tell you all I learned this past weekend....it will forever change the way I photograph babies and their mama's....and I owe it all to Robin Long's PureBaby workshop. Here is a quick little glimpse inside my wonderful weekend.....I came home with 1611 images....so I'll be sharing more as time goes on. For now, enjoy!!
